What size events can LEGGS DJ?
DJ Leggs Offers a wide array of professional DJ & Audio Tech solutions for every occasion: some of which include small private jams such as birthday parties, baby showers, family reunions, sweet 16’s & grad parties - with small crowds of 15/20 people or private and public events for patrons in the 100’s to as many as thousands. DJ Leggs is not limited: Weddings, graduations, live music venues and more. Your event is never too small or too large.
Is There an hourly rate per event & is booking online secure
There is a base price for ever kind of event type. This price starts at $300 which covers a standard 4 hr event and covers basic private or public events needing just the DJ service. Every hour after the 4hr base rate will incur a modest $75 an hr adjustment. DJ Leggs is super affordable and always has the client in mind, especially in this day and age when prices have driven up for everything, yes, including DJ Prices. Leggs has not changed his prices in almost 10 years. Booking Leggs here through this website is super secure, as all bookings are handled outside of the site itself through the Paypal/Venmo platforms or straight through your debit/credit card with top tier encryption. What makes LEGGS different?
DJ Leggs is not only a seasoned veteran entertainer. He is also an accomplished dancer who knows the grooves. His musical prowess covers a wide scope of musical tastes to fit nearly every patron. As a performer, he has vetted the crowd throughout his career, and knows what people like. No matter the genre, age, event type, Leggs has a sixth sense for it. He also has performed in small local bars/halls holding 50 people to stadium sized venues across seas seeing more than 10,000 patrons.
Does leggs do fog machines & lights or other effects?
DJ Leggs does not provide Fog machines, special effects lights and such. He provides the music system. DJ PA System for music play and charismatic event hosting to voice over announcements and engage the crowd. For a modest price, You can find a lighting technician and special effects tech, depending on your budget.
Is There a contract for booking?
Yes! Leggs does furnish a contract agreement for each job for both you (the client) and Leggs( the performers) satisfaction, however, rest assured it is actually an agreement in an invoice form that stipulates what is being agreed on by both parties: Event type, time, date, compensation and any and all parameters associated with the event details. Do no hard to understand contractual talk and misleading terms. the invoice agreement is very easy to follow and straight forward. It is emailed separately outside of the website directly, once you book here online or verbally speak with Leggs himself. Sometimes an actual peformance contract needing signatures & etc. may happen for bigger gigs, such as a multi-artist music venue, or international jams.
Does Leggs Take requests?
Many DJ’s do not favor requests for events, some just like to do their thing according to their expertise with the event flow. Leggs does welcome requests for select events. It depends on the jam and or the situation surrounding your venues needs. By Default, Leggs like to rock in the zone. He may announce that he is not taking requests for a specific event, or and he may announce call times to welcome requests. This will be outlined to YOU the client in the agreement parameters of your event contract.
If My event starts at 6pm when does leggs arrive for setup?
DJ Leggs always makes his venue appearances on time and with enough time for setup, logistics and redundancy. Leggs typically will arrive about 30 min to an hr before an event, depending on the complexity of the jam. For larger events with a tech staff, he may need to appear a few hours before start time. Typically the most part no more than an hr before your events start time. This detail will be covered in your event invoice agreement.
Is there a deposit for event booking?
YES! a modest deposit is required to hold a date and time for your event in accordance to and respect to the DJ’s time and energy, besides that, another client may want to book an event on that same date. Its always first come, first served. Booking online through the site does not allow the deposit feature. However if you require to secure just a deposit to get started, you can email or call Leggs. He will be more than happy to accept a deposit, and get you setup with an invoice agreement. Deposits are generally anywhere between 1/3 to ½ down for the total amount of the booking. Any adjustments that may effect the balance owed for your event can be agreed upon and paid accordingly before or during your event.
