Daddy Long Leggs (DJ Leggs) has undoubtedly become one of Providence's fastest-rising prodigies, as a dj professional. specializing incredible skill in the toughest street art of advanced turntable techniques. A true luminary from the "East Side of Providence" arts scene, Leggs has spent over a decade establishing himself from the stereo mc battles of Eastside housing jams, to the comic book conventions of NYC. As a dancer, b-boy, and musical tastemaker, his passion for dance has proved constant through every evolutionary moment. even through out middle and high school, Leggs' has focused himself erratically toward hip-hop style and electronic sound effects that has dazzled school-age friends and would be strangers. His artistic journey—from street dancing to DJ battles/exihibitions, eminates from the comic book creation (pre 1996) to mastering the turntables—has made him a force in Rhode Island's underground scene. Whether he's scratching at "401 Rockerz" events or mentoring the next generation of DJ’s _ Leggs embodies the perfect fusion of technical mastery and creative innovation that defines Providence's vibrant hip-hop culture. 30 years in (2001 as a dj) you bet your fucking ass, he is going down in history faster than the expanse of the known universe… yet no acceptance by his contemporaries till this day?
